Is there a swimming pool at the hotel?
If you love to swim, we’ve got you covered! While we don’t have a pool onsite, there is a wonderful community pool at the Port Aransas Community Park less than a mile up the road.
The park also features Pickleball and basketball courts, baseball fields, a 10,000 sq ft skateboard park and an outdoor playscape and picnic area, plus disc golf, a walking/jogging trail, and a chipping green. For hours and more details, visit their website.
How far is The Place from the beach?
Not far at all! We’re just a 5-minute drive away from the I.B Magee Beach Park.
Are pets allowed?
Unfortunately, pets are not allowed in the hotel, however registered service animals are welcome.
Are there age requirements for booking a room?
Yes, you must be at least 21 years old to book a room with us.
What are the check-In and Check-Out times?
You are welcome to check-in after 4 pm and check-out anytime before 11 am.
Does The Place serve breakfast?
Indeed, we do! We welcome you to enjoy our morning breakfast bar 7 days a week, featuring a variety of cereals, fresh fruit, yogurt, pastries, coffee, juices and more!
Is there a bathtub or roll-in shower in any of your rooms?
All of our standard rooms feature stand-up showers with sliding glass doors. Our Deluxe Family Room- Handicap Accessible features a roll-in shower.
How big is the hotel?
Our hotel features 40 guest rooms across two floors. Since our hotel is only two floors, we do not have an elevator. If you require or prefer a room on the first floor, please call us at (361) 416-1414 so that we can do our best to accommodate you.
